Well it's cold, wet, and dreary in Melbourne on Sunday night and tomorrow is the big departure day. I'm still a bit weary from my work trip to Tokyo, two weeks delivering training is non stop mental pressure and I know how full time teachers must feel. On top of that a 10 hour (plus) overnight Friday / Saturday trip home with minimal sleep to top it off has left me wishing I had a few more days to relax before going. Never mind, I'm hoping the excitement of it all will get me through the first few days before I acclimatise to the local time zone. No time to contemplate much once I hit "Drizzle Island", speedway meetings at Kings Lynn on Wednesday and Ipwsich on Thursday to get me straight into the swing of things before heading off to Prague on Friday for the Czech GP. Hopefully the Oz lads (Kevin Doolan, Kozza Smith, John Oliver and Rusty Harrison) riding at Kings Lynn will give me something to cheer about even though it's against bottom of the table Mildenhall.
Look out UK, coming ready or not !!
