This has to be quick because I'm on restricted internet time (don't you just hate that?). Having an absolute ball so far. Survived the 1 am start for the drive from Poznan to Prague and arrived back in Prague at about 8:30am. Flew to Birmingham and saw Stoke beat the home team 46-47 which I though flattered Birmingham. Saw Redcar the next night take on IOW and the score of 52-41 didn't reflect the closeness of the racing on the track. Stayed at a pub in Saltburn-By-The -Sea and had a great time chatting to the locals in the bar. Great dry sense of humour they had and all their funny lines were delivered with a straight face.
Did Edinburgh on Friday v Mildenhall and god, what a night. We were made to feel unbelievably welcome and everyone went out of the way to make sure we were looked after. We got taken to the hospitality area and even scored a trip out to the centre green to watch a few heats from out in the middle. Later on we got interviewed by the centre green announcer and to be honest we didn't want the night to finish. What charming and kind hearted bunch the Edinburgh folk are with special mention to Caroline (Midnight Lady), Dennis (Merlin) and Mike Hunter, thanks guys, you helped make the night perfect. Actually I did want the night to finish because I had to drive home but Ron could have easily stayed and enjoyed the hospitality even longer I'm sure.
Off to Glasgow tonight weather permitting and really looking forward to that. Found out we can't get seats at the GP in Malilla so we have decided to stay in the UK next weekend and we will have to see what that brings.
